Stepping on Facebook's toes or trying to start their own thing? This is my first post to the Sidewiki, and to me it's nothing more than another type of blog. There are no similarities to Facebook or any other social networking site for that matter. But, I really like the idea, because it's easy to access...you don't have to navigate to a specific webpage.

Now, what I'm really interested in is Google Wave...from what I've read, it will be a direct competitor to all social networking sites already out there. If only I could get my hands on an invitation!

Being a Dad

Being a dad of a three-and-a-half year-old little boy and having another boy on the way I have found myself wondering lately...what is the most important life lesson that I can teach my boys?  It is important for me to teach them love, kindness, friendship, loyalty, honesty, and humility...but there is so much more.  I want nothing more than for my boys to be successful in life...but I don't want to define their life as some parents do...I simply want to be a guide for them to help them along the way when they hit bumps in the road, to offer words of encourangement, and let them know it's okay to pursue their dreams.
